Experience & commitment

Jorge has represented property owners in contract and land-use litigation, helped union members enforce contractual rights and challenged the City’s arrests of day laborers.

He has served as lead counsel in complex litigation, representing whistleblowers under the False Claims Act, litigating vote-dilution claims under the Voting Rights Act and certifying a class of foreign workers under the civil provisions of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).

Jorge has won pension, health and severance benefits for clients under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and has handled race, sex and disability discrimination matters. He earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and his B.A. from Brown University. He has served on the boards of the ACLU of Illinois, the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights and the Little Village Economic Development Corporation.
